Refrigeration Systems FAQs

What types of refrigeration systems do you install and service?

Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in units, and complete commercial refrigeration systems — from a single restaurant walk-in to multi-compressor setups for grocery and food processing.

Can one contractor handle both the refrigeration and the gas work?

Yes. DC Mechanical is TSSA certified and our technicians are licensed for both gas and refrigeration, so piping, venting, and refrigerant work happen under one permit trail with one accountable contractor.

Do you offer preventative maintenance plans?

We do — scheduled inspections, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and door and gasket service, tuned to your equipment and season. Maintenance clients also get priority scheduling when something does go wrong.

Do you provide emergency refrigeration service?

Emergency service is available for our existing maintenance clients. If your business depends on refrigeration, ask about a maintenance plan so you're covered before you need it.

How We Work

  1. Site Assessment

We walk the site, measure everything, and review your existing equipment before we quote — so the number you get is the number you pay.

  2. Design & Fabrication

Ductwork, transitions, and curbs are custom-built in our shop while equipment is on order — so installation day isn't fabrication day.

  3. Installation

Crane lifts, rigging, gas, and electrical coordination are scheduled around your business hours to keep disruption to a minimum.

  4. Commissioning & Support

Every system is started up, balanced, and documented. We stand behind the install with maintenance and priority service.
